ZOMG!

Dear Red Cauldron,

I represent Setanta Sports who’ll be screening a number of Liverpool games throughout the season. We’d be keen to work with you to promote these to Liverpool fans, by having a news article, site sponsorship etc in the run up to a game being screened.

XXXX

Holy cow, Setanta Sports? The Irish TV station that holds the right for the English FA Cup and England International plus some Premiership?

Incredible.

But well, no Saturday games for me and enlistment at the end of the year. Let's see if I can get a 6 months contract and get some bucks over ;)

Ahhhhh ANYWAY. Sy Rogers was FANTASTIC *does hand signs*. The message sort of crosses the boundary of what we usually hear in a church while it was also delivered in a powerful manner...well let's forget about him being a bit 'niang' HAHA!

He said so many things that are so close to us and one thing that hit me the most is about us having flaws and us fearing it. Looking around me, looking at myself, I think we all faces it somehow or the other and it does definitely speak a lot to me.

We often surrender ourselves to the thought that we're not good enough, we don't look as charming as A, B or C, not enough charisma to stand on stage and doesn't have a tongue that sounds like a machine gun to go and preach His good news.

Well I guess it's time we surrender it all to Him whose strength is made perfect by our weaknesses. Time to learn to depend on Him rather than what people say and what the devil is saying.

Looking at those disciples Jesus chose. Fishermen, tax collector and even a prostitute. By human terms, who on earth are they to be called disciples of the Messiah? Yet they managed to turn the world upside down through Him and His power. If these people can do it, why can't we?

Looking at Moses, he doesn't necessary have the sharpest of tongues out there but yet became a mouthpiece and led the people out of darkness.

Looking at Paul. Oh my gosh. He should probably be hung and made into char siew pao but yet he was redeemed and became the writer of so many awe-inspiring epistles in the bible.

So why keep looking at our own weaknesses, whining and sulking. We ain't made perfect so cling on to the One who'll make us whole and trust fully in Him. Look up and the harvest is here. If the little boy with 5 pork floss bread and 2 ikan bilis can satiate the hunger of 5000, so can you go out there and quench the thirst of the millions who are thirsty.

Go go go!
